Dr. Minoosh Shabani Barzegar is an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases at SBMU, where she has been a faculty member since 2015 . Her research focuses on COVID-19. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to several international collaborations, and several lectures in international communities. In addition to her research, Dr. Shabani is dedicated to teaching and mentoring students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, guiding theses and research projects. “Among her academic achievements, she values most the opportunity to teach and mentor students, which she describes as the most successful and favorite part of her professional life.”
