This method utilises a gain-to-noise temperature ratio, a known process that we can directly observe to have much valuable information on how the antenna can receive weak signals in background noise. This paper discovers the utilisation of Software Defined Radio (SDR) integration in satellite ground station systems for G/T measurement, revealing approximately +3% differences compared to systems without SDR, highlighting the advantages of software-based configuration flexibility in modern communication technology.
