The analysis of recommendations for calculating the rectifier commutation circuit is performed. Contradictions in the specified recommendations are revealed. The commutation process in the rectifier is described. An algorithm for assessing the impact of the primary winding and network on commutation is proposed using the method of constructing the frequency response of a transformer by current. Recommendations are obtained for taking into account the commutation parameters for different parameters of the equivalent circuit of the transformer and network. Contradictions existing in the literature are explained.
