Sunish Kumar Orappanpara Soman (Senior Member, IEEE) received
a PhD degree in Computer Engineering from the Memorial University of
Newfoundland, Canada, in 2020. From 2020 to 2021, he was a Postdoctoral
Researcher at the University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2021, he joined
Ulster University, Belfast, U.K., as an Assistant Professor. He also works as an
Adjunct Professor at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and
an International Faculty at the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology,
China. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society. His research includes applying digital signal processing and
machine learning techniques in wireless/optical communications engineering.
