He holds a degree in Education, specialising in Mathematics and Computer Science, from the Instituto Superior Pedagógico "Juan Marinello" (1995), a Master's degree in Didactics, specialising in Mathematics Didactics, from the Instituto Superior Pedagógico "Juan Marinello" (2003) and a Doctorate from the Universidad Pedagógica. "Enrique José Varona" in Havana in 2004 in the area of creativity in computer education. Experiences in the area of Education, as part of the Teaching-Learning, focusing mainly on the following topics: computer education, creativity, distance education, problem solving and teaching of programming. He is a member of the Academic Committee of the Doctorate in Educational Sciences of the University of Matanzas, referee of 9 international journals and deputy editor of two. He coordinated the Degree in Educational Computing at the University of Matanzas. He is a member of several national commissions and international networks associated with the development of creativity and information technologies.
