Peter is undertaking further Doctoral research studies into "Scenarios of future schooling, futures thinking and emerging forms of learning, future skills".
Peter is a Past National President, Life member and Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia. Prior to being elected President in 2005 to 2008, he served for 21 years on the National Executive, and served on the board of the Career Industry Council of Australia where he was a Foundation Member 2005 and Vice President 2006. Peter was a Senior Curriculum and Digital Technologies Consultant for Catholic Education where he was responsible for assisting principals and teachers in learning and teaching. Peter has undertaken consultancy work for the University of Notre Dame (NDA), Edith Cowan University (ECU) and School Curriculum Standards Authority (SCSA). Peter has been in Leadership positions in schools with over 38 years experience in career development. Peter has worked with organisations and individuals in the public, private, community and education sectors. Peter's research and work has been published in numerous Australian and international journals and he has been invited to speak at several national and international conferences. I received a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions to School Curriculum Standards Authority presented by the Minister of Education. and a Certificate of Recognition, 15 years Service the Australian College of Educators.
