This paper evaluates the 60 GHz channel capacity based on wireless data center (WDC) channel models and radio measurements in a productivity server room. The channel capacity is evaluated to study the frequency selectivity effects on three receiver structures, namely a guard interval based OFDM receiver, a decision feedback equalizer (DFE) and a matched filter (MF) based receiver. The capacity is evaluated according to the IEEE 802.11ad channelization scheme with respect to the 10 Gbps Ethernet (10GigE) wired network links. The wireless capacity was found limited in terms of practical coverage distances considering the 10GigE wired throughput constraint
