SSSS is an exfoliative toxin mediated skin disorder most commonly found in children. In this paper, we discuss the importance of recognizing the clinical symptomatology and progressive nature of SSSS, particularly in patients with a history of atopic dermatitis, to assure prompt treatment and resolution of the syndrome.
