Senior Research Scholar & Research Associate Professor
Taufika has a joint appointment as a Senior Research Scholar at the Molecular Education, Technology, and Research Innovation Center (METRIC) and as a Research Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry. She is also the Proteomics Section Leader for the Center for Human Health and the Environment (CHHE), as well as the METRIC Lead at the Plant Sciences Initiative (PSI) at NCSU. Taufika's focus is in the area of proteomics/glycomics/metabolomics and mass spectrometry. She enjoys collaborating with NCSU researchers in these cutting-edge areas of bioanalytical chemistry, teaching proteomics graduate courses, collaborator and graduate student training on mass spectrometry and proteomics techniques, as well as conducting her own research. Taufika is the Chair of the Policy Subcommittee of the NCSU Council on the Status of Women (CSW) and a member of the NCSU Department of Chemistry Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
