Trisomy 18 , is a genetic disorder characterized by fetal death shortly after birth. However, with advances in medical care and careful family nursing, the survival rate for Edwards syndrome is improving.This paper reports the anaesthetic management of a boy with trisomy 18 undergoing closure of patent ductus arteriosus
