Lukas Fiedler, originally from Leoben, Austria, obtained his medical degree from the Medical University Graz in Austria. He completed his training in ENT and Head and Neck surgery at Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromäerinnen Trier in Germany and then worked at UKE Hamburg. Dr. Fiedler further enhanced his skills by completing an EAFPS fellowship for facial and reconstructive plastic surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and additionally certified in plastic and aesthetic operations by the German Board. He is a member of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Fiedler holds a doctoral degree from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a Master's degree in Healthcare Management. He has presented at international conferences and is now affiliated with SLK Klinikum Gesundbrunnen in Heilbronn, focusing on plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Fiedler's operative focus lies in plastic and reconstructive surgery, specializing in functional Rhinoplasty and large dermatooncological reconstructions and Skull base Surgery. He has a keen interest in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in this field, as evidenced by his recent publications. Further he is focusing on his AITICA project using AI for perfusion monitoring in flaps.
