BaZnCuO3 (BZC) was synthesized using the sol-gel method. The BZC was incorporated in reduced graphene oxide (rGO) to produce BZC/rGO composite. The synthesized catalysts were characterized using Raman, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) analysis. The comparative effect of BZC and BZC:rGO composite was studied on the thermal decomposition of and 3-nitro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (NTO) and Ammonium Perchlorate (AP) using simultaneous Thermo-gravimetric technique (TG-DTA). BZC was a better catalyst for decreasing the thermal decomposition temperature and the thermo-kinetic parameters of both AP and NTO compared to BZC/rGO composite. BZC can reduce the thermal decomposition of AP and NTO by 121 oC, and 46 oC, respectively. The findings support BZC as a possible catalyst in the thermolysis of both NTO and AP.

Hydrogel based soft materials have earned considerable interest as promising systems for biomedical filed as a consequence of their numerous properties likes softness, biodegradability, and hydrophilicity. The polysaccharide and natural polysaccharide have the numerous properties like nontoxicity, biodegradability, availability. The polysaccharide gums have outstanding benefits such as renewable, biodegradable, biocompatibility, and nontoxic. The uncontrolled release of drug and sufficient strength of hydrogels are challenges for the researcher to develop the advanced materials for the drug delivery application. An addition of inorganic nanoparticles in the hydrogels leads to improve matrix properties regarding robustness and sustain drug release profile. The rheological profile of nanocomposites hydrogels were established by carrying out amplitude sweep and frequency sweep. The release profile of prepared nanocomposites hydrogels was studied by utilizing ofloxacin as a model drug in different pH media, different content of nanoparticles and different intervals.

Incipient wetness impregnation method was used for the immobilization of heteropolyacid 12- phosphomolybdic acid H3[PMo12O40] (PMA) over natural bentonite. The characterization techniques such as XRD, FT-IR, FeSEM and EDS were used for characterization of catalyst. The catalytic activity of three catalysts 10%, 20 % and 30 % PMA/bent studied for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones. The catalyst 30 % PMA/bent displayed high activity towards the synthesis of a variety of dihydropyrimidones (DHPMs). The high yield of dihydropyrimidone (DHPM) was obtained in model reaction in ethanol, acetonitrile and solvent - free condition. The reusability test indicated that 4 % of yield of product decreased after 5th cycle.
