Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a malignancy with high mortality and morbidity. Early diagnosis and treatment of OSCC and other potentially malignant lesions of the oral mucosa is the clinician’s best weapon to improve prognosis, since it greatly worsens as the disease becomes more advanced.

We report a case of an advanced refractory Gastric AD which responded favourably to a combination regimen of AGI and other chemotherapy agents which were selected on the basis of multi-analyte tumor profiling. The treatment was well tolerated with transient manageable adverse events and yielded radiological partial response.

A 72-year-old female used the oral phosphate binder lanthanum carbonate for 6 years, before discontinuing it after receiving a pancreas and kidney transplant. Now, 7 years after discontinuation, the patient developed bilious emesis. An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed an unspecific gastritis. Biopsies showed subepithelial crystalline deposits consistent with gastric lanthanosis.

Modification of coronally advanced flap (CAF) by tunneling procedure was applied on four cases of gingival recession. Post-operative follow up, at different time breaks recorded full coverage of almost all receded root surfaces. The technique and the clinical outcome of this technique will be demonstrated in this case series report.

Maxillary sinus melanoma is a rare mucosal melanoma difficult to diagnose in the absence of pigmentation. Intranasal masses presenting with the features of occult malignancy and rapid progression should always be investigated in the line of melanoma irrespective of pigmentation. The histopathological and immunohistochemical examination helps to confirm the diagnosis.

Penetrating brain injury is a rare pathology generally requiring emergency surgical intervention. We discuss a case of penetrating brain injury by the umbrella in which surgical intervention was performed 14 days after the injury, and obtained good clinical results.

Traditional palatal and vestibular surgical approaches for removing deeply impacted mesiodens with a crown facing the nasal floor are accompanied by significant complications. Herein, we describe a novel modified intranasal approach to minimize the complications. Also, it can be performed under local anesthesia with proper preoperative workup.

Schizophrenia is associated to somatic disorders especially cardio-vascular and auto-immune. Through this case report, we describe an association with hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HPO). For this patient it was a paraneoplastic paraneoplastic syndrome secondary to lung cancer. This syndrome is rare but important to recognize since it could hide a life-threatening condition.
