Liberal use of oxygen plays a significant role in exacerbating the long-term lung injuries associated in COVID-19. Hypoxemia and hypoxia are two different entities. Correcting hypoxemia without hypoxia tends to have disastrous effect and delays lung healing.

We report the case of an undiagnosed descending aortic aneurysm, combined with coarctation and persistent left brachiocephalic truncus in a 59-years old male. This case underscores the increased necessity for aortic imaging while facing a poorly controlled hypertension, erroneously considered as of essential origin.

The diagnosis of Listeria endocarditis and spondylodiscitis was evoked. These are two unusual forms of listeriosis.The evolution was favourable after antibiotic therapy.

A 61 years old male had minimally symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection while taking everolimus. He remained RT-PCR positive for viral RNA for 52 days. Pegylated interferon for 4 weeks led to viral RNA clearance. The observations support consideration and further evaluation of combination therapy with everolimus plus interferon for COVID-19.

A 49 year-old male with severe low back pain showed multilevel disc bulges with spinal stenosis. After 18 treatments of low-frequency vibro-percussion stimulation initial VAS pain score of 9.5 reduced to 2.5 and the Rolland-Morris score of 13 reduced to 3. The MRI showed some resolution of L3-L4 and L4-L5.

KEY CLINICAL MESSAGEWe present the case of a child developing widespread vesicle-bullous lesions during an acute and symptomatic Epstein-Barr Virus infection. Antibody serology, biopsy and direct immunofluorescence allowed the diagnosis of a paraviral bullous eruption. To our knowledge, this is the first report of bullous eruption following Epstein-Barr virus infection in childhood.
