IntroductionSitus inversus totalis (SIT) is a rare congenital disorder in which the abdominal and thoracic organs are positioned as mirror images of their normal locations. This condition represents a comprehensive situs orientation defect, arising from the failure to establish typical left-right asymmetry, which leads to various laterality disturbances. Ultrasound is one of the most important medical methods for diagnosing SIT in patient’s early life stage. We herein report a case of SIT fetus revealed by routine prenatal ultrasound examination.
