Dr. Avishek Choudhury is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at West Virginia University. Dr. Choudhury received his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in 2022 and a master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering program from Texas Tech University.
Dr. Choudhury is a recipient of the Paul Kaplan Award, Fabrycky-Blanchard Award and Excellence Doctoral Fellowship for exemplary academic performance, excellence in research, and promise in the study and practice of systems engineering. His research interests include patient safety, artificial intelligence, cognitive ergonomics, and clinical decision-making.
