Syed Manzoor Qasim received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees (Hons.) in Electronics Engineering from the Z. H. College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. He is currently working as a Research Director at Semiconductor Research Consulting. Before this, he was a Research Engineer with King Saud University, a Consultant with the Technology Development Center, KACST, Manager of Research and Development, and Principal Research Consultant with the National Center for Electronics and Photonics Technology, CITRI, KACST. He has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He contributed to eight US patents granted by the USPTO. His research interests include system-on-chip design, digital IC design, computer architecture (RISC-V), reconfigurable computing, FPGA design, machine learning, cloud computing, digital transformation, and the Internet of Things. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Life Member of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), India, and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hong Kong.
