not-yet-known not-yet-known not-yet-known unknown Objective To explore the potential mechanism of Qidan Tongmai Tablets (QDTMT) in anti-atherosclerosis based on network pharmacology and molecular docking. Method The study utilized network pharmacology methods, including multi-database retrieval, pharmacokinetic screening, gene ontology enrichment analysis(GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis(KEGG), molecular docking, etc., to elucidate the active ingredients, signaling pathways, and potential mechanisms of QDTMT in treating atherosclerosis. Results Network pharmacology analysis revealed 85 effective components and 133 related disease targets. Protein-protein interaction network analysis indicated that key active ingredients such as quercetin, kaempferol, and luteolin may exert anti-inflammatory and antioxidant stress effects by targeting key proteins including AKT1, TNF,IL6, etc.thereby stabilizing plaques in biological processes. The crucial pathways include pathway in cancer, lipid and atherosclerosis, and fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis ,etc. Conclusion Using network pharmacology methods, we obtained the active ingredients and potential mechanisms of QDTMT against atherosclerosis. This reveals that QDTMT may treat atherosclerosis through multiple targets and signaling pathways, providing a basis for further investigation into its pharmacological mechanisms and expanding clinical strategies.
