I am an independent researcher at present with a particular interest in the application of bacterial typing techniques in the setting of hospital care associated infections to identify the origin of the strain, track the transmission, detect the emergence of hyper-virulatent and multidrug resistant (MDR) strains to discover microevolution of these bugs.
