Researcher, consultant and teacher exploring how social justice concerns are negotiated when adapting to climate change in coastal environments. Managed retreat and its aftermath is the strategy I know best.
In my PhD I used mix method (in-depth interviews, surveys, mapping) in a multi-modal case study of a participatory community visioning process for the future use of vacant land exposed to flood risk in Edgemere (Queens, NYC).
I used this platform to mostly show some of the research/thoughts during my PhD time.
