The prescription of medications should be a constant concern in the
daily practice of doctors, focusing not only on potential interactions
with other prescription drugs, but also with herbal medicines, natural
remedies, substances of misuse, and even certain foods. Minimizing the
risks of interactions between these substances is the duty of all
