Asif Alam is a Presidential Scholar pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL, USA. He currently serves as the President of the Engineering Research Society and is a member of the Honors College at FIU. He is an inventor on a filed patent as well. His research interests include millimeter-wave antennas and interconnect, flexible antennas, air-filled substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) antennas, SIW technology, on-chip antennas, and emerging design techniques for millimeter-wave components.
