This article explores the religious views of renowned poet, scholar, humanist and Sufi-poet of Sindh, Pakistan Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, how he interpreted the religion through his poetry in a very conservative period of Kalhora Dynasty of Sindh. How he dealt with his Hindu friends regarding the religion and for what purpose he visited the sacred places of Hindus. Moreover, to analyse the religious aspects of the poet as well as his intentions and sacred practices of the Islam have been discussed in this study.
