Purpose: the purpose of this study was to assess the role of knowledge, attitude, practice, and barriers of evidence-based practice in stay intent among Jordanian Nurses. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional design was used. A sample of 310 nurses from five hospitals completed the study. Participants completed data about stay intent and knowledge, attitude, practice, and barriers of evidence-based practice. Data was analyzed using SPSS program version 24. Results: The regression analysis revealed that EBP attitudes, practices, knowledge, and barriers significantly predict stay intent, controlling for participants and workplace characteristics. Conclusion: Registered nurses’ intention to stay in the nursing profession could be influenced by the research utilization in nursing practice.
