A Rare Case of Postcardiac Injury Syndrome Caused by Radiofrequency
Catheter Ablation of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation: Severe Pulmonary
Arterial Hypertension with Severe Tricuspid Regurgitation
Abstract
Postcardiac injury syndrome (PCIS) is commonly seen complication caused
by radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of persistent atrial
fibrillation (persAF). We describe a rare case of PCIS with severe
pulmonary hypertension (PAH) accompanied by severe tricuspid
regurgitation (TR) following RFCA for persAF.
