Methods: The structural equation modeling approach was applied on the data gathered from 495 students from public colleges through convenience sampling in order to carry out this study. Results: The findings demonstrated that misophonia significantly affects both attention control and sensory processing. It was also discovered that attention control has a mediating role in the relationships between misophonia and disgust propensity as well as in the relationship between misophonia, depression, and anxiety.
