With the aid of OpenCV and Python, we attempt to use hand gestures to control our media player in this project. In linguistics, hand gestures are a crucial part of body languages. The use of the hand as a device makes it simple to interface with humans and computers. The importance of gesture recognition has grown significantly. Different apps, such as Windows Media Player, robot control, gaming, etc., are controlled by hand gestures. Interaction is simple, practical, and requires no additional equipment when gestures are used.
