Dr Haruka Okui received a doctoral degree from the University of Tokyo in 21th March, 2024, under the supervision of Prof Kaoru Sato. She is currently working at the University of Bath as a research visitor (JSPS Overseas Research Fellow) sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
