Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura is a particular form of thrombotic
microangiopathy, characterized by petechial lesions, anemia, renal
failure and fluctuating mental status. It is usually associated with an
infection, drugs, or neoplasias. Confusing and rare, it is a real
diagnostic challenge.
