PhD of Engineering in Science and Technoloy of Structures, Master of Arts in Conservation Studies
Georgia Zacharopoulou has been working for the Greek Ministry of Culture for the last twenty five years, developing particular interest in the conservation of monuments including industrial heritage with relevant educational activities. She has specialised in the theory and technology of lime binders, and their proper implementation in the conservation field. She is also concerned with the European standardisation process and its impact on the sustainability and authenticity of local heritage. Her current research interests are about history of science and technology of structures.
