We report the clinical, imaging, echocardiography and muscle biopsy findings of a patient presenting by characteristics which have not been reported in previous Melas cases. The reported case is a 53-year-old woman with the history of long-standing rheumatoid arthritis who first presented with acute-onset dizziness and gait disturbance, periventricular linear and radial enhancement pattern on MRI and normal CSF analysis, successfully treated with an increase in the dose of oral steroids.

Anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase(Anti-GAD) are associated with various neurologic condition; but, no meningitis has been reported with it, so far. Evidence demonstrates the associated of autoimmune meningoencephalitis with Covid-19 infection. Here we report a 44-year-old female with progressive loss of consciousness with anti-GAD65 meningoencephalitis after Covid-19 infection.

After performing DBS surgery on a patient with Tourette syndrome, significant improvement was observed in OCD, but the tic remained unchanged, which contradicts previous studies. Herein we discuss that fluctuations in the therapeutic outcomes may be due to differences in physiological conditions tic- or OCD-specified pathways.

Abstract Concurrent presentation of MS and congenital ichthyosis is extremely rare. Rituximab use in multiple sclerosis has been promising. Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is a common side effect of rituximab in patients with lymphoma. We report a case of a 44-year-old man with a history of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, who presented with signs and symptoms consistent with CRS after rituximab initiation.
