Basal ganglia calcifications have been linked to a wide range of causes. Mostly it is an idiopathic finding, especially in elderly. Endocrinological and neurological disorders are major causatives. Hyperthyroidism was not related to this finding. We present a case of incidental basal ganglia calcification in man with Grave's disease.

We are reporting a case of Guillain- Barré syndrome seven days after the first dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. As this vaccine is still under investigation, reporting possible rare side effects is essential. In this case, the temporal relationship was suggestive of a vaccine-induced cause.

As the clinical course of COVID-19 infection in SCD patients is not clear, close monitoring is essential. We emphasize that RBC exchange should be offered early to avoid possible deterioration. We present a case of COVID-19 infection in a SCD patient causing severe hemolysis, that improved after RBC exchange.

COVID-19 related pneumonia overlaps with ACS, one of the most common acute presentations in SCD patients.We present a case of 22-year-old SCD patient presented to the emergency department with mild respiratory symptoms turned out to be COVID-19 positive and received red blood cell exchange to avoid the possibility of deterioration.
