In this paper, we introduce two new concepts, named BW b-contraction and proximal BW b-contraction, on strong b-metric spaces. Then, we obtain two best proximity point results for such mappings. Hence, we extend and generalize some results existing in the literature. Further, we provide some nontrivial examples to support our main results.
