Scientist
Dr Indrani Roy is a Climate Scientist and undertook her Ph.D. at Imperial College, London, within the Space and Atmospheric Research Group. Since receiving her Ph.D., she has worked in various research organisations including Imperial College, London and the University of Exeter and has also previously worked for the Indian Meteorological Department. She is a Fellow and Trustee of the Royal Meteorological Society (FRMetS) and an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA). Indrani is a panel member of the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC), UK and a reviewer of many international journals including Nature Geoscience, Scientific Report, Climate Dynamics, Plos One etc. She is also a reviewer of many grant funding bodies viz. National Science Foundation (NSF) US, Royal Society, NERC and NASA. She has 44 first / single-authored peer-reviewed publications on the Web of Science and many of her research are multidisciplinary in nature and address pressing issues of the current day science and society.
