In this case, we present a 47-year-old male who was found to have S. intermedius abscesses in his lungs, liver, and brain. The treatment of choice for these abscesses is a combination of drainage, surgery, and antibiotic therapy

Solitary fibrous tumours (SFT) are a rare group of spindle cell neoplasm of submesothelial origin with malignant potential. Here, we are presenting a case of a 45-years-old male patient, who presented with recurrent episodes of hypoglycemia spells and later on, it was diagnosed that hypoglycemic spells were secondary to fibroma.

We present a case series of 5 patients who were found to have COVID-19 encephalitis. There is still no disease defining test for diagnosis so the mainstay of diagnosis is the exclusion of all common causes of encephalitis. Brain MRI and CSF analysis perform an ancillary in the diagnostic tools.

COVID-19 is known to cause hypercoagulable and pro-inflammatory states and increase the risk of cardiovascular events. We present a case of a 57-year-old female with prior COVID who subsequently developed a STEMI requiring LVAD due to new-onset heart failure. There are no similar reports of this cardiovascular complication in COVID-19.

We report a case of a 34-year-old female with low-grade dyspnea on exertion despite markedly dilated left atrium (LA) on chest radiography which clouded our interpretation of the cause of enlarged cardiac silhouette. However, echocardiogram proved useful in demonstrating severe mitral stenosis and the giant LA.

A 14-year-old girl presented with the rapid growth of bilateral breasts within a year, causing her chest discomfort, and pressure sores in the inframammary fold. We report the case of a 73-year-old man who was presumed to have iron deficiency anemia and was treated with iron supplements since adolescence. His workup revealed β-thalassemia minor and H63D homozygous hereditary hemochromatosis complicated with liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.

A 24-year-old male presented with radiating back pain and progressive neurological deficit. MRI revealed spinal epidural tumor at the thoracolumbar junction. He underwent decompression and excisional biopsy. Histopathology and immunohistochemistry identified it as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. He received chemotherapy and is asymptomatic at one-year follow-up.
