Staged hybrid repair of a Kommerell diverticulum in conjunction with
double thoracic saccular aortic aneurysms
Abstract
Although a Kommerell diverticulum (KD) and aberrant subclavian artery
(ASA) are a common congenital anomaly, a KD and ASA with two thoracic
aortic aneurysms are rarely reported. We describe a case of a KD with a
right ASA and two thoracic saccular aortic aneurysms, which were treated
with a total arch replacement, frozen elephant trunk technique, and
thoracic endovascular aortic repair.
